Thank you to the Cary Chamber of Commerce for hosting the Candidates Forum April 19. I was happy to be given the opportunity to answer questions about how I can impact our great city and I was encouraged to see so many people taking an interest in local government. My campaign has been to nearly 2000 households in District C. I have a strong handle on what our voters want to see done in Cary. Absentee by mail voting has already begun Early voting runs April 28 through May 14. May 17 is Election Day. Please vote.
What a terrific time at the Hindu Society of North Carolina's Holi festival at the Temple in Morrisville. I enjoyed the wonderful activities, dancing , joyous atmosphere and of course...the colors! I also had an informative meeting with the Asian Americans Together group while there.
Spent an enjoyable morning loading trees into vehicles for participants in the Town of Cary's My Tree, Our Tree program. What an outstanding job by the town and its residents to beautify Cary on Arbor Day.
Attended an event in support of Red Cross. This amazing organization alleviates human sufferings: helping people affected by disasters, supporting military families, delivering lifesaving blood, as well as teaching critical life-saving skills.

I attended the Cary Chamber of Commerce State of Cary presented by Mayor Weinbrecht. It was fertile with information and provided a clear picture of what yet needs to be done, including more attention to the environment and workforce housing. I'm rolling up my sleeves!

I Loved supporting the fabulous Cary Jaycees at today's Cary Christmas Parade. I was so humbled by the great support I got for my candidacy from the crowd. I hope to truly "represent" District C. We are a representative government, and I remember that. You are my customer. Please support the Jaycees at https://www.caryjaycees.org/
I met with Town Council members and community citizens at the DEI Mixer at the Mayton Thursday night. It was wonderful to hear the shared interests in diversity, equity and inclusion. Town talking points that specifically created a spark of interest included the human relations diversity and inclusion task force.
“Another thing noted in our remarks were that one of our DEI initiatives with the town of Cary lives in the finance department and is specifically working towards developing more relationships with minority and women owned businesses in Cary,” said
Stephanie D. Reed - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist.
I am the Founder of the

I loved the Christmas tree lighting and wonderful program provided by the Town.
As part of the redistricting education, citizens were welcomed to learn more about their district and town services at various District Open Houses. I attended ours at Middle Creek Community Center. I was able to discuss the Cary Parks, the Recreation and Cultural Resources Master plan, Cary Fire Dept. services, plus environmental initiatives and Storm Water Drainage with Cary officials.
I had a wonderful time mixing and meeting residents.
I handed out candy all afternoon and really enjoyed the kids and meeting my customers.
